Interested in virtually volunteering with the Literacy Council of Reading-Berks? Join us on April 22nd from 11AM-12PM or 7PM-8PM for an engaging conversation about Earth Day! Help Literacy students that are learning English practice their vocabulary, verbs, and language exchange by engaging in fun games and discussions led by Ryan Breisch, Executive Director, and Elisa Hammes, Supplemental Learning Coordinator.
Engage in informal fun conversations to help ESL students practice their English language skills.
We will be discussing problems in the environment, innovations and practices that address those problems, and looking ahead. Also, what is different or the same in various countries. Is littering a problem? Are there recycling facilities? Is the water potable? Etc.
Tips, Tricks, Conversation Prompts, and a Zoom link will be sent to you prior to participating.
