Literacy Council of Reading-Berks, Inc.

The Literacy Council of Reading-Berks is a non-profit organization with over 50 years of educational service to adult residents of Berks County.

The Literacy Council serves two audiences, adults and businesses, and offers classes, workshops, one-on-one tutoring and off-site training. When people come to us, they’re committed to making a change—and ready to do the work. Our programs are proven effective and focus on four positive outcomes: read and write proficiently; become a productive citizen; prepare for work; and, achieve success on the job.
