The Watershed Congress is an annual conference focused on watershed issues that is being held at Alvernia. Student Session Facilitators get to attend the conference at no cost.

During the Watershed Congress, breakout sessions are presented in classrooms to small groups ranging from 15 to 30 participants. These Breakouts are introduced by Session Facilitators who help to keep the program running smoothly with announcements and timekeeping.

Student Session Facilitator volunteers should plan to arrive by 7:30 AM on March 28th to check in with conference organizers. At that time, Student Session Facilitator will check in with the Session Facilitator Coordinator to be briefed in person on their room assignments.

The Watershed Congress Day begins when registration opens at 7:30 AM and runs until 3:30 PM. As a Student Session Facilitator, your primary responsibilities will be facilitating sessions during the Watershed Congress. However, you may also have responsibilities as assigned by members of the Watershed Congress organizing committee. Before the day of the Watershed Congress, you will receive specific guidance regarding your responsibilities

The dress code for the Watershed Congress is casual to business casual attire. As representatives of the Watershed Congress organizers, student facilitators are expected to dress neatly.  Student Session Facilitator should feel free to wear their college colors or college gear to represent their school as long as clothing is neat and in good condition. Avoid wearing shorts, t-shirts, or jogging suits.

Student Session Facilitator also receive free registration to the Watershed Congress. Included with Registration Fees is a light breakfast and a lunch.
