Delaware Riverkeeper Network

Who We Are

The Delaware Riverkeeper Network (DRN) champions the rights of our communities to a Delaware River and tributary streams that are free-flowing, clean, healthy, and abundant with a diversity of life. DRN gives voice, strength, and protection to the communities and waterways of the Delaware River. Through independent advocacy, and the use of accurate facts, science and law, DRN works to ensure the rich and healthy future that can only exist with a clean, healthy, and free flowing river system.

What We Do

Founded in 1988, DRN has grown into a leading environmental organization with the ability to provide effective environmental advocacy, analyze technical documents, implement cutting edge monitoring projects, and enforce compliance with environmental laws. DRN works to ensure that the Delaware and its tributaries are given high priority in all decision-making; and that there is broad public recognition that our mutual greatest good comes from the protection and restoration of our Watershed’s natural resources. Our six program areas are: Advocacy, Awareness, Restoration, Litigation, River Tech, and Water Watch.
