Kula Kamala Foundation & Yoga Ashram is a is a 501c3. We are a spiritual school situated in the farm and forest region of Berks County, Pennsylvania. With 6.5 acres of carefully tapered organic landscape, the ashram is truly a sanctuary of peace and stillness for all. We serve the community in order to uplift all beings away from unnecessary suffering and toward greater health, more profound happiness, self awareness, and unity. We are dedicated to means & methods that cultivate compassion, non-violence, devotion, and service.
What We Do
Our volunteers support all aspects of the foundation, including our vegetarian café, which is open to the public, in our gardens where we grow vegies & herbs for the café, and general support as needed. We love to work with the skills and strengths that volunteers bring, and we are open to creating personalized opportunities that are supportive to all. Individuals & groups welcome. The ashram provides many services to the community including yoga asana and meditation classes, spiritual education, rituals, service based programs and a vegetarian/gluten free cafe. People from all walks of life and from all spiritual and religious traditions can and do experience great benefits from visiting, learning, and practicing at the ashram. Walk the meditation path, traverse the labyrinth, stroll through the flower gardens, take a yoga class, sit in quiet contemplation, enjoy a delicious, healthy meal.
