  • Lunch (including fresh french fries!) will be provided.
  • If you no longer plan to attend, please unregister from Get Connected ASAP as there are limited seats available.

Please keep in mind the importance of following through on your commitment to serving others. Our community partners rely on Alvernia and our students when we make a promise to serve with them. Unfortunately, the last-minute mindset that “they will be okay without me” leads to no one showing to serve and our partners and community being let down. The iHartHarvest Project is relying on you to serve on Saturday! If we do not show, there will be potatoes that go to waste and spoil because we are not able to harvest all of the potatoes that they upturned specifically for our group. We very much appreciate your dedication to our Franciscan Mission of service. That being said, we recognize that emergencies happen. If something arises, please reach out to us as soon as you are able. Wishing everyone an outstanding day of transformative service.

By responding to this posting, I understand and agree that I represent Alvernia University at both on and off campus locations. I agree to behave appropriately and act in accordance with Alvernia University’s Student Code of Citizenship. While serving offsite, I must abide by the organization’s rules and regulations. Students who do not abide by this understanding may be referred to Community Standards for further assessment of actions.
