VOiCEup Berks is hosting a series of fun workshops designed for middle school girls in Berks county, where these girls can learn about modern programming, 3D designing, filmmaking/editing, and many other topics provided by TechGirlz. TechGirlz, a non-profit based in Philadelphia, uses industry professionals to create these interactive and engaging lessons that get young girls excited about a future in technology.
For this event, we're asking for a volunteer with a little bit of experience in film editing and storytelling. TechGirlz will provide the curriculum and PowerPoint slides, but your extra knowledge of editing videos will be paramount to making this workshop run smoothly.
