VOiCEup Berks is hosting a series of fun workshops designed for middle school girls in Berks county, where these girls can learn about modern programming, 3D designing, filmmaking/editing, and many other topics provided by TechGirlz. TechGirlz, a non-profit based in Philadelphia, uses industry professionals to create these interactive and engaging lessons that get young girls excited about a future in technology.
We're calling on you to assist with our workshops, as college students are the perfect mentors for middle school students! Each workshop will hold a maximum of 12 young girls, so we would ideally have 2-3 assistants for each workshop. No prior knowledge or skillset on these topics is required, although it helps!
Workshop schedule is as follows:
-April 24 (12pm-3pm): Filmmaking and Editing
