Description

The Assistant Coach is a volunteer who works with a team of coaches to assist in facilitating the Girls on the Run curriculum to program participants. This position entails approximately four hours per week during the program's season. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Assistant coach must be at least 18 years old
  • Current PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, and FBI Clearances
  • Learn more about coaching here 
  • Complete Girls on the Run online National Coach Training (approx. 5 hours)
  • Attend practices once or twice a week during the 8 week season (practices are typically twice a week for 75-90 minutes)
  • Optional CPR/First Aid Certification 
  • Have fun!

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Serve as a role model for program participants
  • Collaborate with assistant coaches for successful delivery of the curriculum
