Join the Reading Youth Initiative in assembling bikes for the Books for Bikes summer program!
Books for Bikes is a summer literacy program in partnership with and Tyson- Schoener and Millmont Elementary School's designed to encourage at home reading and combat “summer slide”. Kids that participate in 75% of the summer reading program are awarded a bike at the end of the program. Volunteers are needed to assemble bikes in preparation for the end of the program celebration.
Assembly will take place on Friday July 23rd at 401 Penn Street from 11am - 4 pm.
Students are welcome to attend at any time.
Pizza and drinks will be provided.
