Join the Reading Science Center for Celebrate Science Day, a high-energy community event filled with interactive activities, live demonstrations, and opportunities for families to explore science in fun and meaningful ways. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the day run smoothly and create a welcoming experience for all guests.
Volunteers will support the event in a variety of ways, from welcoming guests and helping them navigate the space to assisting with activity stations and offering general event support.
Celebrate Science Day will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Reading Regional Airport in an indoor hangar.
Shifts:
- 10-1 PM - Setup
- The event runs from 1 PM to 5 PM, with volunteer shifts available from 1 PM to 3 PM or 3 PM to 5 PM (or sign up for both shifts to be there for the full event!)
- 5-7 PM -Teardown
Looking for individuals who are reliable, approachable, and excited to be part of a community event. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to support access to science experiences in our community!
