Jumpstart to Serve: First-Year Day of Impact is your first chance as a Golden Wolf to get out into the community and live out Alvernia’s mission of service.
This signature event invites you to embody Alvernia’s Franciscan mission by engaging in meaningful service projects at local schools that make a real difference.
During this impactful afternoon, you'll help deliver the backpack donations (packed during Community Building Day on Aug. 23rd) to students in need, directly supporting their educational journey.
Join us in making a positive impact and start your Alvernia experience rooted in service and community engagement.
What to Expect:
- Team-based service at local schools
- Meet community partners and bond with your new classmates
- Free swag when you return to campus
- Transportation provided
