Military Veterans are needed to visit with Veteran patients at end-of-life. Become a supportive visitor, share your common experiences and be an understanding listener. One hour a week can make a difference in the life of a Veteran at end of life.
Veterans can also help with our Vet-to-Vet Cafes at local nursing facilities, and our community outreach programs in support of veterans. Heartland Hospice is a Level V participant in the national We Honor Veterans program.
