Angelica Creek, partly located behind the football field of Alvernia, is home to a variety of freshwater species, including native trout, that are threatened by pollution. The goal of this clean-up is to clear out some of that pollution from the section of the creek that is directly impacted by the runoff of trash and debris from Alvernia.
Volunteers will be given gloves, a trash bag, and a grabber tool to aid in collecting trash in and around the creek. Please wear shoes that you expect to get potentially dirty and wet, as well as long sleeves and pants that protect you from thorns and ticks. Volunteers will meet outside Campus Commons.
