Support a hospice patient through friendly visits. Be a supportive presence by reading, doing a project, singing or possibly just sitting in silent support. Patient visits may take place in the patient's home or nursing facility.
All volunteers must submit an application and two references, pass a criminal background check, drug test, and TB screening. Once accepted the volunteer will complete approx. 12 hours of training before visiting with patients.
