Genuine Climbing

My name is Camille Otruba, Alvernia alum, class of 2009. I attended a Genuine Climbing retreat earlier this year and felt the power and magnitude of support through survivorship and being in community with others affected by cancer. I am a local volunteer for Genuine Climbing and am request assistance in finding volunteers for an upcoming rock climbing event on September 18, 2025. “Routes for Recovery” will be held at Reading Rocks. Volunteers are needed at different stations throughout the event. I look forward to volunteering with Alvernia Students again.

Genuine Climbing 501(c)3 is dedicated to uplifting women both physically and emotionally by offering free rock climbing experiences for those affected by cancer.
