We are educators, case workers, volunteers, and advocates from all walks of life and many different countries coming together to enrich, empower, elevate, and enlighten the undeserved communities throughout Montgomery and Chester Counties, especially those facing the additional challenge of English as a second language.
What We Do
ACLAMO provides educational programs, social services, and access to health and wellness programs to Latinos and other community members to empower them to fully achieve their life potential. Our ADELANTE Program focuses on providing college access prep, career readiness support, and training to middle and high school students. ACLAMO’s Youth Mentoring and Career Development program provides literacy, math and science mentoring, tutoring, and homework support and S.T.E.A.M.-focused enrichment activities to ESL students.
The program includes academic guidance and coaching through specialized tutorials and aims to fill learning gaps for underserved ESL Latinos in low-income households and supporting students’ future educational and career paths, exploring S.T.E.A.M. fields.
