Who We Are
Berks Encore is a non-profit organization that serves individuals applauding life after 50. About 60 years ago, there was ongoing concerns regarding the county's aging population. With that, Berks Encore was established continuing to provide programs and services to the county's older adults.
What We Do
Berks Encore is a senior center that allows active and independent seniors to enjoy socialization with other members, along with different activities done throughout the week. The activities consist of bingo, exercise, arts and crafts, and much more! Berks Encore also has a section directly for helping older adults receive help with services, such as Medicare. Besides the center, we have a program, Meals on Wheels, that delivers meals for older adults who aren't capable of receiving meals.
