Chester County Intermediate Unit

The Chester County Intermediate Unit is a dynamic educational service agency providing quality, innovative and cost-effective programs and services to enhance the lives of students, educators and members of our communities.

The Chester County Intermediate Unit for the Reading School District was awarded a 5-year, 21st Century Community Learning Center grant at Riverside and 10th and Penn Elementary Schools to provide an after-school and summer enrichment program to grades 1-4. The program is Monday-Thursday from 2:30-6pm and focuses on homework/tutoring, a daily STEAM activity, physical health and wellness, and a healthy snack.
