Office of Career Development

The Office of Career Development envisions a seamless transition from a student's time on campus to their first professional career role. Consistent with Alvernia's Franciscan values, Career Development envisions the campus experience holistically and is placed to support students to be as intentional as they want to achieve their own goals, be driven by their values, and maximize their opportunities and experiences they have to attain meaningful, purpose-driven, vocations or life-long careers after graduation.

The Office of Career Development supports students navigating their journey from campus to career. From different conversations on career readiness to all phases of occupational exploration, career planning, and job seeking. We provide programs, services, and opportunities for students to explore their career interests and develop the skills they need to navigate life after college.
