Student Occupational Therapy Association

SOTA is an occupational therapy club that explores all areas of the OT profession while also creating a great network within Alvernia and the local community. Some examples of what we do at meetings are guest speakers, interactive games and crafts, movie nights, field trips, and yoga. We are active in the local community by volunteering with many local organizations and holding many donation drives. Our goals are to create a strong community of students at Alvernia who work closely with faculty, other students, and the local community; to hold events that reflect the interests of its members; and to advocate for the occupational therapy profession.
