Habitat for Humanity of Berks County has been in operating since 1988 and our mission is to provide safe, affordable housing to low-to-moderate income first time homeowners. We rehabilitate existing homes within the City of Reading for qualified participants of our first time homeowner program. HFHBC also manages the retail side with our ReStore, which has gently used donated furniture and other building and household supplies, as well as new brand-name inventory.
