Not Applicable Summary of Responsibilities: Hospice volunteers provide emotional, social, and household support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. Volunteers play a vital role in improving the quality of life for patients by offering companionship, respite for caregivers, and assistance with non-medical tasks. Volunteer services are provided for all levels of living on the campus of The Highlands at Wyomissing® and surrounding communities. Volunteers may also provide administrative support to the hospice program. The content of this job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work expectations performed by incumbents in this classification.
