Volunteer: Head CoachThe Head Coach is a volunteer who works with a team of coaches to facilitate the Girls on the Run curriculum to program participants. This position entails approximately four hours per week during the program's season. REQUIREMENTS Head coach must be at least 21 years old Current PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, and FBI Clearances Learn more about coaching here Complete Girls on the Run online National Coach Training (approx. 5 hours) Attend all practices during the 8 week season (practices are twice a week for 75-90 minutes) CPR/First Aid Certification (training provided by GOTR Berks) Have fun!RESPONSIBILITES Serve as a role model for program participants Prepare, organize, and supervise weekly practices Collaborate with assistant coaches for successful delivery of the curriculum Facilitate communication with parents/guardians (communication templates provided by GOTR staff)By responding to this posting, I understand and agree that I represent Alvernia University at both on and off campus locations.
