- Welcome patients, families, and guest to Reading Hospital
- Escort patients and guests from the lobby to the necessary hospital location.
- If a patient appears to need a wheelchair, offer them one.
- Be cordial and friendly to all guests as you take them to their destination.
- When returning to the lobby, assist any guest that are in the hallway that appear to need help getting to their destination.
- Work with the security guard to determine which guests need assistance.
- Be able to direct to entrances, parking, cafeteria, nursing units, gift shops, security desks, and ATM locations.
Volunteers are required to obtain PA criminal background clearance, child abuse clearance, FBI background clearance.
