Eid al-Fitr It's an Islamic holiday marking the end of Ramadan, the month when devout Muslims fast daily from dawn to sunset.
To celebrate Eid al-Fitr, we take our students to perform Salat al-Eid and gather together for an iftar at the First Energy Stadium. The Salat gathering takes place in the morning at a musalla. The Islamic center sponsors the iftar and provides the musalla for our students. We need volunteers at the musalla to help organize tables, welcome attendees for Eid, and assist with all necessary arrangements for Eid festivities. Both Muslim and non-Muslim students will have the opportunity to volunteer for this event. Non-Muslim students will have the chance to learn from their Muslim peers.
