Mission and Ministry is organizing an Operation Christmas Child Packing Party!
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse and provides humanitarian aid to children in 3rd world countries through a simple gift. The shoe box includes items like a notebook and a pencil which can allow a child to go to school for 6 months! Other items that can go in are toys, soap, cups, and other small trinkets.
On September 29th, help is needed to pack 1,000 shoe boxes! Students should report to the yellow and white tent on the quad on campus. Set-up will begin at 9 and packing/cleaning will hopefully be completely by 5. However, the service event could possibly be done before then.
