During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Safe Berks brings its powerful Silent Witness Display to Alvernia University. The display features life-sized red silhouettes representing individuals who lost their lives as a result of domestic violence, serving as a moving reminder of the impact of relationship violence and the importance of prevention, education, and support.
Volunteers are needed to assist with both the setup and tear down of the display in the Alvernia Library.
- The October 23 shift will focus on setting up the display by unloading materials, transporting the silhouettes into the library, and assisting Safe Berks staff with arranging the exhibit.
- The October 30 shift will focus on tearing down the display by carefully disassembling, packing, and loading the materials back into the van
