Southern Middle School is seeking volunteers that can help go door to door with their team on Thursday @ 4:30 pm.
Last week the Southern Middle School community was rocked by an unexpected fire, taking a few lives and hospitalizing others.
One of the ways we are working to support the community is to operate an unscheduled Adopt-A-Block program, where we aim to hand out bags of food to at least 50 of the surrounding homes. Bags will include crisis and fire/household safety information.
Please arrive at Southern Middle School (931 Chestnut St.) @ 4:30pm if possible. Parking is available in the school parking lot, behind the school (entrance on S. 10th St.). The gym door will be open & we'll gather inside the school gymnasium.
