Volunteer: Prepare and serve or drop off a meal for Opportunity House Shelter ClientsPrepare and drop off or serve a meal for the clients of Opportunity House. We serve 3 meals a day 7 days a week. The need is great and we can use help with every one of them! You can either serve or drop off a meal at our shelter or come in and serve. Meal times are as follows: Lunch: served at 11:30 am every day. Dinner: served at 7:00 pm every day. Breakfast: served at 6:00 am during the week (M-F) and at 8:00 am on weekends and holidays.

As part of the Holleran Center Service Olympics initiative, students will visit Opportunity House’s Second Street location to personally deliver collected donation items and spend time engaging with preschool-aged children. In addition to dropping off donations, volunteers will lead and participate in a fun, age-appropriate activity with the preschoolers—creating a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone involved. This event is expected to take place in March (specific date and time coming soon). This is a wonderful opportunity to connect directly with the community, represent your team, and make a positive impact beyond campus.
