Volunteer: Franciscan Friday: Firefighters Museum

Honor the spirit of service on September 11 by joining us for the first Franciscan Friday of the semester at the Firefighters Museum. As we remember the courage, sacrifice, and selfless service of first responders, volunteers will assist with projects that help preserve local firefighting history and support the museum's mission of educating the community.


Transportation is provided. Please meet us outside the Student Center for departure.

Volunteer: 2026 Saint Francis Day of Service

Join us for our annual Saint Francis Day of Service, a university-wide tradition held each September to honor the life and mission of Saint Francis of Assisi. Each year, students, faculty, staff, and alumni come together to serve others and make a difference in our community. We’re partnering with the iHart Harvest Project to harvest potatoes that will be donated to local food pantries through Helping Harvest.

Date: Friday, October 2, 2026Time: 10AM to 2PM (but you’ll earn 5 hours of service!)Location: iHart Harvest farm (transportation from main campus provided). There is no parking for this project; you must take the university shuttle.Lunch provided (including fresh-cut french fries!)Wear sneakers and clothes you don't mind getting dirty (this project takes place at a potato field and we will be harvesting potatoes). We will provide water bottles, sunscreen, and bug spray

Join the Muslim Student Association (MSA) for a meaningful volunteer experience at Helping Harvest! Make a meaningful difference in someone's life by assisting at Helping Harvest warehouse to packages food items that will be donated directly to  families in need.
