Pura Vida

Pura Vida's mission is to help the Alvernia community understand the political, educational, and social issues that affect the Latine/Hispanic community by recognizing and supporting Latine/Hispanic students at Alvernia University. We will promote positive cross-cultural engagement by hosting events and volunteering in the community to introduce diverse cultures to our history, beliefs, culture, and religion. To inspire and empower Latine students to become dynamic leaders and identify and address critical issues that affect the Latine/Hispanic community. Our organization is not limited to specific student groups; we are a welcoming organization, so everyone is welcome!
