FRANCISCAN SERVANT LEADER CERTIFICATION
The Franciscan Servant Leader Certification recognizes students who commit to growing as leaders through meaningful service. Rooted in Alvernia’s Franciscan tradition, this program invites students to explore what it means to lead with humility, compassion, and purpose. Participants develop practical leadership skills by engaging in a range of service experiences that strengthen their connection to local, regional, and global communities. Through this certification, students learn to listen deeply, act with empathy, and respond to the needs of others while reflecting on how service shapes their values, identity, and future goals. Those who complete all requirements earn the certification at graduation as a testament to their dedication to servant leadership.
